I have retired from the web et al.

Dear friends,

I have retired from the web [and IT] (except [for] work, duh?!) so no more facebook, twitter, this blog or new gadgets to better my life [so that I can become lazy and let the gadget do all the work for me]. I have closed MY access to these web things, but you will all [still] be able to view them.
If the need arises, you may keep in touch via either Skype or email.

Perhaps one of the motivations for this is that I’m going to be restructuring my life – I am going to be ME, and no one else. Nothing less!!

See you all in REAL life – bye for now,
Malcs
PS. Feel free to ask me why. Don’t be shy!

I want to write

I have been wanting to write since last week, but each time I decide I should sit down it is already pretty late. Again it happened.

This reminds me of quiet times and how easy it has become to just forget and walk away.

Pity this first post of the 12th year is a personal rant

Sunday the twenty fifth of December two thousand and eleven

Today started with four animals. The eldest put her nose up to the food while the other three ate their food. Rikki went as far as lying on the steps and staring at the wall. I eventually fed her some bread.

It must be the first Christmas church service that I missed. I really missed out on the fellowship. I did plan to go early, but certain animals made sure that I didn’t go at all.

It is sad that my family go to great lengths to make the day a brilliant day. This day lost its true meaning and became just another day for me. I have no desire to “socialise” when all I do is act like I’m not a fly sitting on the wall.

Whenever I could, I would sneak into my room to play minecraft. I even brushed the dogs hair to try evict boredom. An hour later I was walking them round the block.

Funny thing happened, my neighbour or his friend knew my name.

Before I came back here to sit upon the house, I was playing minecraft. The other players came to my ‘house’ to have a look see as well as to put a jukebox in the room and dance like I’m not quite sure what!
It made me laugh. Unfortunately I couldn’t stay as I had to leave to go house sit.

If anything, I’d say my siblings enjoyed their chocolate supplies. I now have new bed linen, more espresso beans, Controlled Chaos and a picture portrait of my niece & nephew!

Apparently santa said that the postal system got delayed and I’ll have to wait for my final gift. With today already lost, I’m not too sure what to expect next.

Happy holidays
